DISKUS Group

The DISKUS bussines group includes DISKUS, spol. s r. o. with ITgifts. It's based in Prague with branches in Ostrava and Bratislava. We are a family business with emphasis on tradition and building friendly relationships based on trust and mutual respect. We constantly support enviromental principles and encourage recycling of all technicall waste. Our company also provides long-term financial support to wheelchair qudraplegist Mr. Roman Zámečník as part of it's non-bussines activities.

Distribution

Originally a small company dedicated to the distribution of portable storage media, it has transformed itself into a multibrand distributor of IT brands from the worlds leading manufactures. The core of the company's portfolio contains IT accessories, consumables and consumer electronics. In addition to the B2B e-shop which enables easy browsing selection and ordering. Our company supports our customers via marketing and other tool to develop their own trading. The company's main assets are logistic, foreign trade experience and long-term bussines contact with major global supliers. 

Datamedia & Storage

In addition to the distribution of data media, we also provide a number of related services. These includes degassuing (safe and permanent data erase), desctruction of data media, data rescue and tagging of data tapes.

An indispensable part of DISKUS, spol. s r. o. is the ITgifts division which offers wide portfolio of IT products suitable for advertising purposes. Our specialy is in the production of entirely custom-made products.

Important achievements of DISKUS company

• 1991 - Establishment of DISKUS, spol. s r. o. in Czechoslovakia. Main product - floppy disks.
• 1993 - Establishment of DISKUS s. r. o. in Slovakia. Distribution agreement with Imation Europe.
• 1995 - Conclusion of contract with Verbatim GmbH.
• 1996 - Expansion of Philips, Sony brand portfolio.
• 1998 - Opening main reconstructed office building at Sokolovská 154, Prague 8.
• 2000 - DISKUS became a Diamond distribution of IBM data tapes.
• 2006 - DISKUS became distributor of optical media and TDK accessories.
• 2007 - Extension of customized USB flash drives products for promotional purposes - ITgifts.
• 2008 - Establishment of subsidiary - DISKUS Polska in Krakow. Focused on data distribution and services.
• 2011 - DISKUS became a multi-brand distributor and centralized warehouse for the Czech republic and Slovakia.
• 2012 - B2B section begins to offer new data services - Degaussing.
• 2013 - DISKUS moves the central warehouse to Green Square logistics complex in Říčany.
• 2014 - Extends suply with new extensive product category - drones and RC models.
• 2015 - Extends range of new brands with focus on Smart products.
• 2016 - Strengthening of market position, new brands.
• 2017 - Central warehouse is moved to the new premises within the logistiscs complex in Říčany.
• 2018 - Extends range of new brands and cooperation.
• 2019 - 1st place in Hvězda 3D reklamy (marketing contest). Adding brands Turtle Beach and Roccat to our portfolio.
• 2020 - Extends range of new brands and cooperation - Solo NY, Tellur a Rokform.
• 2021 - DISKUS 30 years anniversary.
